Learning Zones
Both Dumfries and Stranraer Campus provide welcoming quiet study areas where, with support from our staff, you can use computers as part of your studies or in your own time.
Both campuses have LapSafe lockers where using your Virtual ID Card you can borrow and return Chromebooks for your studies at any time of the day without needing to find a member of staff.
Dumfries Learning Zone
The Learning Zone is a quiet study area situated on the Mezzanine floor.
If you need help or advice using Office 365 apps you can visit Microsoft’s Training Centre for help.
If you need support with your course materials please contact your course tutor. If you need IT support you can access a number of help guides online or if those do not answer your question send a helpdesk ticket to digitalservices@dumgal.ac.uk .
Stranraer Learning Zone
At Stranraer campus you can borrow a chromebook using your Virtual ID Card and LapSafe to use in the Learning Zone for your studies.
